La grande tournée du bayaniste et violoniste russe Yuri Medianik organisée par le "Russian Art of Performance International Foundation" s'est déroulée début Mars .Les concerts de Yuri Medianik ont eu lieu en Siberie occidentale et en Russie d'extrême orient. Medianik s'est présenté en concerts comme violoniste soliste (première partie du concert) et bayaniste (dans la seconde partie). Le programme comprenait des compositions de Locatelli – sonata ` At the Tomb', Ravel et Shnitke - ` Sonata 1 pour violon et piano, ainsi qu’une transcriptions de Medianik d’une pièces de Couperin, Daquin, Ibert pour bayan et compositions de Viacheslav Semionov.
Cette tournée s’est produitedans les villes d'Ulan Ude, de Buryatia, d'Irkutsk, de Maryinsk, de Novosibirsk, de Novokuznetsk, de Tomsk, de Bijsk et Branaul, pour terminer, le dernier concert a eu lieu au Studio 5 de la radio culturellerusse le 20 Mars.

Yuri Medianik est le premier bayaniste à se présenter en direct sur cette station de radio. Les auditeurs de la station « Culturelle » sont plusieurs millions entre Vladivostok et San Pietroburgo.

"Journée musicale macedone 2006" Skopje - Macedonie Par Anica Karakutovska
Le festival annuel ` Days of Macedonian Music 2006 ', organisé parl'association compositeurs macédoniens SOCOM sous la protection du Président de la République de Macedonia Branko Crvenkovski s'est déroulée du 29 Mars au 5 avril à Skopie.
Pendant le concerte de jeunes compositeurs du 1 avril prés du musée de Skopje, la compositrice macedonne Elizabeta Ilievska a présenté 2 de ses nouveaux travaux : ` Twelve', pour accordéon soliste, exécuté de Zoran Kirjakovski, etudiante d’accordéon du prof. Zorica Karakutovska, et la composition ` Clowns'(2006) pour ensemble de chambre (flute, clarinette, violent, violoncello, accordéon, xilofono, vibrafone et cimbali) dédiée à "tous ceux que aime et que respecte beaucoup". L'ensemble de chambre il était préparé par prof. Zorica Karakutovska et était composé de :
Vanco Arevski - flute, Sasko Temelkov - clarinette, Kliment Todorovski - le violent, Ljupco Milevski - violoncello, Zoran Kirjakovski - accordéon, Atanas Aleksov - xilofono et Blagoja Antovski - vibrafone. La composition se base sur les caractères de cinq clown du cirque : triste, allegro, cynique, drole et ivres, refléchis de cinq thèmes différents. La composition ` Clowns'a été beaucoup appréciée du nombreux public et a été louée des critiques comme excellente nouvelle oeuvre. Une ultérieure coopération passé entre du prof. Deiro (1886-1950) était le premier accordéoniste à décrire dans un film sain. ` Guido Deiro : Le premier Piano-accordéoniste du monde 'a été filmé à Burbank, la Californie, au studio de de Warner Brothers en 1928 et montré dans les Cinema de tous l’ Etats-Unis à l'acclamation critique. En ce film Guido Deiro exécute deux morceaux (1) la ouverture de l'ei Montechhi du ` I Capuleti 'par le compositeur italien Vincenzo Bellini d'opéra, et (2) le Serenade des millions D'Arlequin de Les de ` 'par le compositeur et le chef d'orchestre italiens Riccardo Drigo. Ce film noir et blanc, qui dure six minutes, a été reconstitué et a rendu disponible sur DVD par Henry Doktorski d'accordéoniste et de musicologue. Le film montre le grand virtuosité, sens musical et la présence d'étape du premier grand tiennent le premier rôle de l'accordéon de piano à la taille de sa renommée.
C’est la sixième foisque la ville d'Imst (en Tirolo, près d'Innsbruck) organise un workshops pour des musiciens et des artistes de styles différents. Du 10 au 14 Juillet 2006 les participants auront l'opportunité de combiner des journées relaxantes et de l'activité artistique. Les fisarmonicisti Friedrich Lips (du Gnessin Academy of Music de Mouche) et de Roman Pechmann (conservatoire de Klagenfurt, Autriche) donneront à leçons d'assolo et musique de chambre.

Emblow and Tony Compton performed a variety of great jazz improvisations,
including many requests, in their concert on April 8th at the Soar
Valley accordion Club, Leicester. Jack Emblow used his familiar American
made Excelsior whilst
Tony Compton played a MIDIfied Sonola
attached to an Orla expander
- a change from his more usual Syntaccordion.
In the audience was former CMA World Champion Pearl Adriano. Although
these top players have been on the accordion scene for 40+ years,
Jack Emblow (known in England as 'The Guv'nor') and Tony Compton had
never met Pearl before. Pearl is resuming her concert career after
some years' absence. She will be in concert at Soar Valley later this
year, on October 7th. The concert was organised by David Price.
Melbourne
audiences were treated to the rare opportunity to hear the accordion
with symphony orchestra, in a concert with the Frankston Symphony
Orchestra. Visually impaired accordionist Bernadette
Conlon performed the Australian premiere of Andrew Walter's newly
resurrected 'Reflections' for accordion and symphony orchestra.
This work showcased both the lyrical properties of the accordion,
its majestic, organ like tone, as well as flights of cascading technical
runs, ably handled by the soloist.
Bernadette was also asked to accompany two of Australia's top young
ballroom dancers, for two tangos, in specially crafted arrangements
of 'La Cumpasita' and 'Blue Tango', before Bernadette was rejoined
by the strings, for a soulful rendition of Piazzolla's 'Oblivion'.

Blair Junior,aged 14 and a student at the Douglas Academy of Music
in Milngavie, was picked with 5 others out of 7,000 musicians to compete
at the last night concert of the Glasgow Music Festival, competing
for the 'Ailie Cullen Memorial Prize.'
The other musicians included piano, vocalist, clarinet, guitar and
cello. Gary stole the show with his brilliant performance and surprised
many of the mainly classical audience. He performed 'Children's Suite'
(Zolotariev - published Karthause-Schmuelling)
and Monti's 'Czardas.' The winner was Scott Lygate playing the clarinet.

Sette Akordeoi Orkestra Tour, Extremadura - Spain Contributed

Zero Sette Akordeoi Orkestra, from the Basque region, is to tour
the western region of Extremadura later this month. The tour is
sponsored by Caja Duero, and lasts from the18th to 23rd of April,
and includes three performances.
The first concert, on April 19th, at 8.30pm, is at the Las Vegas
Theatre in Villanueva de la Serena, Badajoz.
The second, on April 20th, 9.30pm, is at the Carolina Coronado Theatre
of Almendralejo, Badajoz.
The third concert, on April 22nd, at 9.30pm, is at the Avenida Theatre
of Jaraiz de la Vera, Cáceres.
At the end of this month, the Zero Sette Akordeoi Orkestra is to
participate in the First Villa de Cedeira Accordion Festival in
A Coruña, in Galicia, on April 29th and 30th.

L’accordeoniste bulgare Martin Lubenov, victorieux de l'Austrian World Music Price, est né à Sofia mais vie à Vienna au present. Aujourd'hui il représente la tradition des balkans, peupler style de la musique traditionnelle macedone- bulgare mélangé à ethno-jazz, tango nuevo, paris- Musette, sons serbes, roumains, grecs et turcs. Lubenov a étudié musique classique et jazz à Sofia et à Vienna. Sa carrière est entamée à Vienna avec le groupe ` Tschuschnkapelle', et le 22 avril, avec les accordéoniste Peter Ralchev et Stian Carstensenc s'exhibera dans le connu jazz club Porgy & Bess comme ` The Rat Pack of Balkan Accordion'. 17th harmonica and accordion meeting in Zuidlaren is taking place
on May 27th in the Café-Restaurant De Gouden Leeuw (Golden
Lion). For musicians arriving already the day before (Friday), there
is a relaxing evening with music from 8pm. There will be free camping
and caravan space available behind 'De Gouden Leeuw'.
This world level prestigious competition is open for soloists, duos
and ensembles up to 5 musicians. The musical repertoire includes both

15th Stefano Bizzari accordion competition takes place in Morro D'Oro
from July 27th to 29th, and the closing date for entries is June 30th.
